    Default Eagle MTN

Not looking for a beat down lol
My opinion is that the Crappie haven’t even started to really spawn in the marina I’m fishing the males are starting show Bed Tail and the females are still chalk full of eggs and tight not separated and no red veins all at 7-12 FOW
Last year this time, roughly a week away is when I started to pull 1.60s in the slips day time and off walls at night.
Has anyone else see this, this year?

Well my adventures in Crappie fishing this have been to Navarro Mills, Waxahachie lake, Pat Cleburne lake and Aquilla. I agree with your assessment. Most of the fish I have caught are in water 5 or more feed deep. When cleaning the fish caught no sign of milt. I filet everything so I mean the mess sometimes fish make when cleaned and ready to throw milt.

Eagle mountain is on fire in short water at night is what I got last week from a solid source , might go play with them this week over there myself , lake worth fish are about half way thru the spawn already . mineral wells fish are confused and the same at many other spots , here tell south end of benbrook is magic , not sure about weatherford ,grapevine fish are waiting it out like other deep water lakes similar to eagle mountain.
mid April should have most spots lit up well , some of the deeper lakes get really good mid to late April.
the spawn is pretty unpredictable in many spots , but to be sure the April full moon we had , made them all froggy in lots of places.
