Sure enough, we catch a lot of Black Crappie this time of year. Can hardly find them when summer time comes.
    I need more education.
Really wish my lake only had Black crappie, but that's not the case.

Some spots here they go pretty shallow in the summer
The bigger black crappie in one lake we hit are in 10 or less fow
The larger white crappie stay deeper than 10 fow
Might try tree tops in the summer time in deep water too
One spot they hang 8 to 10 down in 20 fow with whites under them at 14 or deeper ...
Depending of if there is a Thermocline
