in HERDS , can be ketched with jigs , it ain't easy with a jig though , just saying , lots of food choices make it a real challenge , we saw ridiculous amounts of crappie in with huge amounts of bait all over the lake yesterday at about 5 foot down in waters around 12 to 20 foot deep .
if you have it under those fish YOU won't ketch much if any at all , measure out your line and adjust it accordingly to the rise and fall of the schools , tip of the week

some pay attention to things other than the graph and find out within those schools were 2 different size shad , some were big 4 inch pups and some were just a 1.5 half grown version ,,,,,, oh the things you might notice if you look away from them electronics ,,,,just saying
