most all the fish in the dfw and nearby are now in the bite really light mode , if you are waiting for a thump it is likely going to be a while or real small if it does so .
watch the line like a hawk , the takes are real slow and subtle and the spit it out is fast .
anything that seems odd IS a bite in this heat , many times the largest fish we are encountering are pecking like a bream at the jig too .....
