the fish are biting really well in lots of spots ,
lots of the summer time throw backs in the mix .
most of the best action is occurring in and around schools of shad as is typical .
water levels in some spots rose a bit too , good news for sure .
use a crappie nibble on your jig , thank me later ....or if you must live bait
the bite is pretty light and the fish are not in that greedy mode .
lots of fish will just be there when you go to move your bait a bit.
some of the bigger fish will even be pecking like a bream .
luck to all ....

Good idea to keep a line in the water as many give up after the spawn till fall. In some lakes the post spawn bite is good, or so I have been told but havnt found that out myself. Will do what we do on my main lake as we will hit the docks and did around them which is usually successful.
