    Default Some spots are Done

One of my favorite spots to hit has the spawn done with. This lake is a shallow water body and the fish left the short water last week totally .
Will they come back , not likely , they were winding down 2 weeks ago fast . The good news is several other spots have fish still hanging around in short water and in some cases still waiting to get busy in short water.
So to be sure , look in those spots that have traditionally later spawning times ,those spots are likely to be lively this week and next .

We have had lots of rain this year.
My home lake is currently 32’ high.
I do have a trip planned a little north on a lake that isn’t flooded.
    Fingers crossed!

32 feet high is twice as deep as the deepest part of one lake I like and for sure that is some high water ya"ll folks got , biologists say real high water makes the spawn supper good for the fish , btw
