Looks like a used truck sales lot everyday when you pass by , it is amazing the amount of fish that get a ride home from there everyday for months on end in the winter .
The good news is the crappie are mostly on the move back to the main lake and it’s a sandbass festival as of now

Do the Sandies have any size to them there I've caught a few there before but most are smaller fish under 10"

about 1 out of 4 or 5 are nice size , a few real magnums in the herds too , the deeper holes likely have some numbers of big fish in them .
we managed a few in the 13 to 15 inch range this last week , keep in mind this , it is the only spot I have ever seen where the big sandbass like to be right behind big trees on the down stream side .
some of those huge laydowns in the deeper holes will have real big sandies under them on the downstream side .
