on the lake you hit our preference is a stout 6 footer and an accurate cast or shot as they call that there dock shooting thing .
it is about time to hit them docks over there for sure , one of them is just the BEST I have ever hit once the water chills a bit .:highfive
Thanks Ketchn! Yes I do need to improve on my dock shooting technique. There has been a time or two I’m jigging a slip and someone goes bananas over it lol! I think if I could master that it would negate the need for a longer pole no doubt! I’ve got a nice 6.5 ft rod I need to practice with.

My favorite spot is between to tube and the motor on a pontoon boat in the slip. That opening is about the size of a rectangular kitchen garbage can. That also makes a good practice target. I also used a 5 gallon bucket with the bottom cut out of it for practice. That teaches ya to shoot thru the opening and back up under the dock where the big ones are. A coffee can works if you want a challenge
