You won't like fishn my lakes..... The fish here just don't stack up like that..... Sometimes you might get 10 on a pile but that's rare....2 maybe 3 then you've gotta move......200 in a hour just ain't gonna happen here....LOL

skunks are rare here , we avoid them if they seem near , it could happen i suppose , but hopefully not any time soon

we are just trying to save on gas in the boat , that running and gunning is lots of work , roll up drop jig set the hook and repeat .
sometimes we have to hunt a bit for them , but in the end there is typically a spot somewhere out there where there is a herd waiting for a jig to drop on them

LOL..... Live Scope has confirmed what I've suspected for years..... It's not that my lake don't have the numbers of fish the rest take of after a few are caught..... And no I'm not waiting on them to settle down and maybe come back.....

I think it has a lot to do with how pressured the fish are. I used to fish a set of docks that had a steady line of boat in front of them. You could manage 1 maybe 2 fish then nothing. Next guy was the same. 6 docks in a row. Move the lake a 1/2 mile to a run down abandoned dock and pull fish after fish out from under it. I would hit that dock about twice a week. After a month and a half the number these fish started becoming pressured and not as easy to catch.
:I would like to thank the builders of docks for giving me a place to fish and lose tackle

reduced numbers of dumb fish and the ones left are hard to ketch from being so highly educated in the art of escape .
see that here on the real good winter docks , get there early or it will be fished to death before you get there .
