    Default Sam Rayburn

Big Sam is approaching 6' over pool as I type this with rain falling and more predicted for tomorrow. It's gone up probably 5' just in May with all this rain here and north of us flowing in. I got out last Friday before this latest week of rain began and it was tough fishing. Couldn't find 'em on brush piles, near stumps or even the bridge pylons. And I had a fishing machine in the boat with me!
Half the boat ramps on the lake are now closed with more closings likely.
Where and how will I find these crappie in all that water?

Well I was a bit behind on the lake level. It's moving up fast, 8.4' high this morning. If the fish are in 25' of water, that mark is moving fast. lol
Oh well, no fishing this weekend, heading to Arlington to see my daughter and see the Rangers vs Astros tomorrow afternoon.
