If you like a short rod you will really enjoy it!
I have one that I started with several years ago but it stays in the rod box most the time because I like a 7’ rod for shooting docks !
Anybody here have any opions on their crappie rods. I own two of the 16 ft troll rods and have a 5.5 rod in the mail for my dock slinging quest. The 16s definitely perform as well or better than my B&M PSTs.

I started learning how to shoot with an 8' double touch then went to a 6'6" TCB. I went and got tutored by a master and then went to a Lew's speed cast that is 5'5" my accuracy and bites went up pretty good. Now I think I can benefit from a little more back bone.

I Definitely like more back bone !
I use the lew’s speed shooter and love it ! The pro angler has a fair amount of back bone and is very sensitive to the thump!
Pro Angler is good stuff for the money best i can tell ya .
lots of folks here in this part of the world swear by em .

I have an 8’ cork handled Pro Angler Tackle rod; plenty of sensitivity & great backbone...even landed a 25” walleye, along with several shorter ones on shallow cranks. In my book, it’s a quality rod & hard to beat for $54 shipped.
