Default Gave a Man Some Fish

And it felt good. Normally I’m the guy going out solo to find a few for my table with a mission mindset! I love the hunt and when I catch a few and fry em up it’s very rewarding to me.

I took an old friend on my little jon and showed him what the long poles are like. We managed 3 keepers after a nice afternoon of fishing.

My buddy had never enjoyed fried crappie before. I said here ya go! After some basic frying instructions, off he went to Walmart for a filet knife.

A new crappie fisherman is born.

    Best,

It’s good thing to give your fish away sometimes.
When I was a kid my dad would keep what we needed and give the rest to people he heard needed a little extra help with food.
    Mostly blue gill

I release most of what I catch. But I do save some when friends asks me to keep some for them. Or if I see a family fishing without much luck. I enjoy seeing families fishing together and figure it will happen more often if they have crappie to enjoy after the trip.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.
