I miss the Crappie

All the crappie holes are locked up tight with the hard water around Wichita Falls.Plus we have close to a foot of snow on the ground. I haven't been out since the 8th. Got a serious crappie itch that needs to be scratched. Come on sun!! Unlock these waters. Hope everyone is making it all right. Yall be safe out there.

its an absolute not fun situation .....i think i am about like you ....heck i cant remember exactly when i last ketched a crappie .
i did try to cast off the bank last Friday and got froze out quick and had to leave

Same here. Last time I was willing to brave the weather was the 8th. The first 45 minutes I caught 4 nice crappie, then the wind shifted to/from the North the crappie disappeared from my slip. After 45 minutes of that cold North wind and lack of bites I decided to follow their example and left myself.
