    Default Snow Slab

Size: 68.9 KB When it snows, you catch snow slabs. No numbers to brag about, but got dinner. Hope everyone is doing okay with the power and water outages across the state. These fish will have to be cleaned with bottled water because of a boil notice, but when you wanna eat crappie...do what ya gotta do. I got it good compared to some out this way. Take care.

As you said, we had plenty of notice so this should not have happened.

Costs money which our leaders did not want to spend to be prepared. El Paso did not have any problems but they spent the money 10 years ago to winterized their generating equipment. They also elected to join the New Mexico power grid instead of the Texas power grid. I was fortunate, had power and water. The worst thing that happened to me was being forced to stay in for 10 days and loss of internet service for three days. Not being able to fish and being without internet service made me stir crazy.

But way too many people did without power and water during freezing weather. Hopefully, our leaders learned a lesson from this and it will not ever happen again.
