    Default I STINK (SKUNKED)


    Yes believe it or not I took a SKUNK home with me this w-end.... It's been so long since I've smelled this bad I got a good laugh from it.....I tried almost every trick I know and NOTHING that I tried worked......
    I fished from 6fow to 25fow in every area the wind allowed...... Think I needed live scope.....LOL
    I did bring two fish in the boat one blue cat and one yella bass but not a one crappie......
    Water was really off color in all the areas I fished....56° water temps.....
    What's your story......

    My last trip was a complete skunk. I didn't catch a thing, even when I started fishing with my bluegill rod using maggots. First time I ever saw bluegill refuse to hit live maggots.

    Live Scope only made the last month worse. I could see schools of crappie but could only get a few small ones to bite. Before Livescope I could tell myself I was fishing a dry hole, but now I can see the fish and watch them swim away when I bring my jig near them.

    I visited a good spot quickly on Sunday just to lip one or 2 .....
    EVEN the brush wouldn't take a jig that visit ....
    and that spot is FLAT full of brush
    sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales
