I’m tuned in - will need all the pre spawn advice I can get! Water temp is on the rise - I saw 48 last time out. Lowest I saw this year was 42.

47 to 48 yesterday at a spot that has been 44 to 45 for a while ....at 55 you best look shallow .
never mind what all the EXPERTS say ....i promise fish will be up somewhere at 55 ....this is a fact

How shallow are we talking Ketchn, 10-15 fow? Thanks!

Dont know that lake very well even though its only a 25 minute drive . the black crappie will be in 10 or so at that temperature or possibly real shallow right at dark or early morning . the males might even stay on beds if its overcast after its been real warm and sunny for a few days before it . if you find the males ...i said if ,,,,the females will be close in 10 to 12 foot of water .
the whites wont likely be strong in short water until a month or so so later when the water temps go 5 to 10 or so degrees higher,and the same will be so with the boys and the girls when they move in to spawn

Thanks Ketchn I’m in the white crappie mostly right now. Have only caught a handful of specks. They are still holdin deep as you mentioned. Appreciate it sir!
