Only lake better than Fork those days was Lake Cleburne.
Any reports on Lake Cleburne lately? I’m in Granbury but have never fished Cleburne.

haven't heard anything about lake pat , it stays pretty quiet down there for the most part
them local boys don't pass out information much
2 of the local guides that hit it , lie and say they went to another lake
in an effort to keep it less traveled
    it is full of crappie

    2/6/21

My brother and I split a trip on Fork with Todd Froebe. Todd wanted too fish LOP. I wanted a Big Fish and wanted too fish Fork.

Knew there weren't gonna be numbers, but we were on the rite Lake for a shot at a Giant. Boy they missed the forecast bad

Fished in some Tuff Conditions, chasing roaming Spooky fish. My Lil Bro's 1st ever fork fish was a 2.22 roaming in 4' of water

Ended the Day with 4 over 2lbs

I remember when the bass fisherman use to pile up on Fork like a rock concert. The crappie guys keep there mouths shut because they knew what would happen if the word got out. It's and amazing fishery. I can only hope Lake Bois Dar'c is just as good when it opens next year.

yep when it opened it was just us and a few locals with minnows , not hardly a soul fished for the crappie or the monster bluegill
good times , we would sink brush under the big bridge in the heat of the day and then swim a bit and get out and start ripping crappie as soon a we could pick up a rod right off the brush we sank while we were tied up in the shade before we swam

we actually needed to swim by that part of the day , 2 mid 20eez guys been ketchn fish for 15 or 20 hours after we worked an 8 hour shift and then hit it as soon as we could hook up the boat and go ....was pretty ripe in the boat right after lunch on them trips
