Deer season’s done
Had a great deer season, quality time with the wife and kids, but I’m like a lot of guys who like to fish more than I like to hunt, anyone else share the same passion as me?

Used to be bigger hunter but still fished a lot in summer. Now more of a fisherfolk and even during first deer weekend IF the bigun's want to play will more likely be dipping a jig! fortunately when the blue tongue and insane MCD were shooting deer for CWD few years ago off helicopters in area and population plummeted the crappie were biting strong during first weekend and still had a ball.
Now I am more into taking care of my son and his crew for deer season usually first weekend when I get my deer first thing or not and then cook and play host. but dont spend much time on stand as the siren call of the crappie finds me quickly on the water.
