    Default Summer aint over yet.

Made the trip down Amon G this morning. They are still in that summer time kinda vibe.Fish have been in the same spots for months at this lake. Usually dont see a change here until October. All the fish were caught off of the trees. Anywhere from 8'-15'. They were suspended at various depths on the trees. With 8' down being the best for bites. Caught a mess to cook up at work tomorrow, and threw back i dont know how many. Yall get out there and rip some lipsName: 20200918_075424.jpeg

sort of thought so , i got a bud that just hammers over there all the time .
we used to hit it some back in the day ourselves .
i saw a tpw creel check one time years ago that said anglers take 55,000 crappie a year out of there .
i bet that aint even close to what leaves that lake in one year on crappie .
some of them private crappie house docks probably take a way big ole bunch of unreported fish .
i heard stories about a few of them , it was hard to imagine them taking that many fish out of one crappie dock all the time .
but after visiting one on its perimeter one day in my boat it became much more believable . all 4 sides gave up a bunch of fish !

There will always be some crappie deep and there will always be some crappie shallow, find the depth the mass prefer and you'll load the cooler.....
