They spend most of their time fishing at night off the back deck of the big boat for cat fish. I suspect the traffic will slow down as the newness wears off. But he is an extremely nice guy, which means he has way too many friends. You've met him and will know him when you see him.

Problem is that I must find a way to put a lock on the refrigerator until he gets the boat floor replaced with wood and can put a new refrigerator on the boat. As you know I don't like having beer in the deck refrigerators as kids can get into them when I'm not there. People are welcome to the soft drinks and water I keep in the deck refrigerators but I don't want to find myself being a source of beer to underage drinkers, even if they take it when I'm not at the slips.

Haven't fished the lake in over two weeks. The slips produce a lot of crappie but very few are keepers. Most are under 8". People are catching a lot of catfish, after 11 pm. Not much before then.

That has been the story of the last few months at the slips. Action but very little size.

I wasn't there yesterday. Haven't been at the slips very much this past week. I have told by those who fished the slips this past week that they are catching crappie but very few keepers among those caught. From what I have been told it's mainly under 8 inches with an occasional 12-14 incher in the mix. Very occasional. From what I've been told the few large fish are caught late at night, just outside the circle of green light.
