Default Worse than Osama Bin Hidin

They are not deep, they are not on brush 16-22 feet deep and I spent hours today with SI and LS looking in the shallows. They are not to be found by me, anyway. Guess I will wash the boat, watch the tropical storm come through, rerig all my gear and hope they show up next week.

Have you checked the bridges? I would find the one with cross braces around 15 ft deep if you can.

Don’t have any on my lake or the other two that are in Central Texas that we fish. Wish we did, though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Somehow I knew my title topic would elicit a comment (smile).

Yes, gin clear and Ketchn, Redge and my friend, Crappie Wrangler, have been catching great fish shallow in lakes further north of me and not so clear. I think I just need to try another lake close by that is not so clear. Although SK would say it was not so, Lake Austin never seems to follow normal patterns and is hard to fish. Once located I can replicate things like depth, water temp, and other patterns on different parts of the lake. The challenge lately has been finding the first batch. I really appreciate everyone that takes the time to post a possible solution and I really take them to heart and try their solutions. This is such a great forum!
