Default the tale of 4 baits

i used a really bright chart at first
i went to a natural second
    i went natural third
and finished up with bright orange
didnt get a photo of the chart one but it was bright with a yellowish tail
all were plastics and the naturals were on an unpainted jig head
and the brights were on war paint heads
the fish hit all 4 baits pretty good but ....
both the naturals got more bites
the report for the beginning of the week is as follows
5 to 8 foot of water it was ON
the more it bounced the more it got bit
suspended fish in deeper water on bait balls wouldn't touch a thing
and there were no fish present in any viable numbers on cover in deeper water .
hope this helps you find some
    KABOOM is the word

more action no doubt ,them ribbon tails flutter no matter the presentation and i think it wasnt as much the color as it was the flutter ?
i will be testing this theory next week with those baits in what i consider a more preferable color for that lake , like monkey milk maybe ?

I believe it depends on their mood, if they are in a chasing mood then more action is key, but when they want it dead still, that is a different mood and one where they are not looking to chase anything. If we know their mood, we should know which way to go, but that takes some finding out before good things happen.
