    Still not in the rocks here at the marina nor in my slips. I did not fish today but those who did caught almost nothing.

    I caught some a Tawakoni in 20ft of water 15ft down. The funny thing is many of them still had eggs and out of the twelve I caught one was a white crappie (a 7 incher).

    yeah the spawn seems late this year for a lot of the fish for some reason and to be sure a many a large fish are staying off the bank as per the norm during this time of year in the daylight , the herons are in full force patrolling day and night and spear a good number of short water fish for sure .
    the big mohawk I managed the other day out of a really small lake had bright yellow eggs according to my bud who put the knife on her . I imagine any other year she would have been long done ? go figure right

    This year the difference from down home and up here is about a couple months...... Biggest I've ever seen....

    I got not a clue what the heck the deal is but some spots they are just getting going ?
