Anyone in East Tx looking to part ways with bamboo?
we have lots of stands of it growing wild in places , along the railroad tracks and such .remember this though ,that "cane" looking big leaf stuff is worthless and not bamboo . that said I am sure a neighbor or someone around you locally has a bunch they want thinned out . the stuff grows ridiculous fast .
my 3 cents

I think there is a lot in the Texarkana area. I would put a message on facebook or other places in that area. Many people want it gone.

its very very invasive and grows phenomenally ridiculous fast . my neighbors stand pops up in my yard and in a week a shoot can get 3 foot or better tall , not kidding

It really should be easier to find and as long as you cut it at the ground and don't leave any nasty spears sticking up for someone to step on they usually don't mind at all! I know around here it's all over the area.

or cut it about at 5 to 6 foot tall if its really BIG around and hitting the clouds kinda tall , I do that quite often
