    Default LOCKED DOWN

man what a time we live in . seems as of midnight I am to ONLY go to work and the grocery store
until 4 7 2012 unless they modify the order as of now
these are some mighty tough times I tell ya , sad but true is the situation currently
and it seems NO KABOOM are now the NEW words of the day
I heard tell some said essential travel was ok and heard tell fishing and hunting were in the wording in dallas county , but I read it thru and thru and couldn't find that clause in the FIVE pages of the Tarrant county version
so until further notice it seems …
NO KABOOM are in fact the words

uh if your alone or with a healthy distance between each person THAT is the definition of social distancing. I was out there with my buds couple times and never got close. Nothing wrong with that. This is NOT the black plague and this virus is affecting fewer folk than all the last few zombie apocalypses. JMHO

Yep, I looked at our lockdown in Central Texas and no driving to another lake in an adjacent county. That plus our lakes shut down pretty much tell the tale, for now. And I thought I was so smart to buy extra minnows (residing comfortably in a baitwell in the lake) and three gallons of HD100 oil for my outboard. Guess I never expected a shut down of the lake.

I would suggest calling the county court. This wording is the exact same as Denton county and after speaking with the county court they told me that this statement includes fishing, hunting, and hiking as well. Name: Screenshot_20200325-084615~2.jpg

You can most certainly fish in Dallas under the court order. It is clear as day. Just maintain social distancing while out.

I don't know of any lakes that are shut down but some parks and boat ramps are closed because the COE has sent employees home. But this does not affect non-Corp lakes and private property. Better to ask forgiveness than permission.

Well I am fortunate, but need to get off my tail and go fishing. I live on the water, my boat is hanging over the water just maybe 50 yards out my back door. The weather and the lake has kept me from doing much, but about to start trying. I am sure we have no Hydrilla the life blood of this lake ever since it got here is no where to be found at least until 7 foot of water since the lake was down most of a year for them to work on the spillway. Still I need to go find a few to yank my chain and will very soon. Thankfully I do not need to get in my car to go fishing and actually have been going down to my little dock and my neighbors dock to do a little fishing from the bank and docks, but only found a few bass. Usually when we have good water in here like it is we will have crappie in here to, but none are. So hopefully I can go find some in my boat that also has not run in close to a year as it got stranded, but I did keep my batteries charged!

Shame we had a fire going.

I am going to spend the next week or two on my houseboat unless they totally lock the marina down. The Corps may decide to close the lake but I doubt the marina will deny slip holders access to their slips unless the lake is closed by the Corps.

i saw specific wording in the dallas version that said it was ok to hunt and fish
but the Tarrant version didn't include that , so I wondered .
but you can go get groceries so if asked ...I am on a grocery run ….
