Good looking basket there RKJ
Thank you sir. Sent from my SM-G892A using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
I know very little about fishing them shallow, I do well from about May to Nov fishing brush piles but I have always wanted to chase them this time of year. Do they go along the banks all over the lake or is the mainly in the north end of the lakes where the creeks start forming? Any particular type of shoreline to look for? Trees, rocks, flooded grass? I mainly fish Roberts, obviously not looking for anyone's spot, just looking for some rule of thumb. I don't know my way up to the North end of the lake with all the trees but would be willing to learn a route on a calm day provided there was fish up there. Any help would be appreciated.
Yep, and they are still shallow today... And all dressed up!

along the edges of buck creek on the steep banks with quick drop offs next to timber lines and the big fish there often go up to the bank in the dark when I used to play up that way and stay out of the shallows in the edge of the timber in 12 to 16 fow in the daylight
