Sk and I think yes for multiple reasons . I hear tell on some lakes they are starting to migrate in numbers to spawning areas . the winter holding spots typically go slow about superbowl weekend in texas .
so if your winter spot is slowing up its likely time to explore other locations .
I imagine some fish will be spawning hard at some lakes within 30 days .
just a quick fyi

Don't know if the transition has started or not. But the four I cleaned last night that I caught in my slip had eggs. (Yes, I caught more than 4 but I only keep 4 each time that are between 11-13" to eat. )
