    Default Cancer Sucks!!!


    Got a call Tuesday that a friend of mine was diagnosed right before or right after Christmas with Colon and Liver cancer. This was Christmas 2019. Last night 1/17/2020 just under 3 weeks later he passed away. I am numb, pissed, sad and anything else you can name. Guys get checked. I do not know if he had been checked recently or not, but if you get ahead of it, you are better off. He had 2 weeks basically and at that point was pumped so full of drugs for pain that he could not talk. 49 years old, college buddy. I do ask for prayers for his 13 year old daughter. She lost her Mom to brain cancer 5 years ago and now her Dad. Sometimes life does not seem fair.

    I have seen such tragedies as this many times... and no there is absolutely nothing fair about it.

    Incomprehensible grief for one so young. I pray that she has a strong support group of family that will carry her through this.
