    and or SWIM BAMBI SWIM if you have to …...
    fish were slow ,deer were frisky .
    got warm that day and had to take off my jacket
    started kinda chilly …
    sometimes a weather report is all I got to give up
    that's all ,next lake please

    I was so liking that jig ,fish thought well of it to for the most part .
    but the next day at another spot something big laid up my line and I set the hook ….
    and KABOOM the reel squeals and the snaps and Ketchn said bye to that pretty thing....

    not many that day to photograph or talk about , some minnow guys cleaned out my one spot before I got there .
    seems I was late to breakfast at that spot .
    and spot one was spotty as well .
    but I did managed a few fish here and there and even though I wasn't happy dancing
    I still had fun and the deer leaving a wake across the lake was about very cool stuff .

    Yeah I have been fortunate enough to see deer swimming a couple of times. Latest was last winter and he crossed the lake near me and I just observed and enjoyed. He never knew I was there in my kayak. That is a pretty jig.

    They swim quickly. Unfortunately they are slower than some of the alligators they have down south
