    Default My lake woke up

Water temp dropped to 60 then back up today to 64. No issue for me as one change or the other caused my beloved fish to act right and position their hungry selves on my brush. Many crappie caught along with 3 slime balls weighing around 3 pounds each, one 3 pound pickle and one even larger. I kept 6 nice crappie for frying and am a happy man.

Congrats on the catch! Always fun and good to be able to catch enough for a good fry!

It was definitely a fun time for you.

Joe Pool Lake was outstanding Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week but died Monday and Tues. Water temperature was 58 degrees the three great days but increased to 60 degrees Monday, 59.8 degrees Tuesday. Don't know why the temperature went back up nor if the temperature change was the difference in catching.

Well, since two fishing guides and some of us hackers were having a hard time patterning them I would say they were scattered into places they previously had not gone. Either that or Ketchn is right. They went to Colorado for a vacation. All I know is now that the water temp dropped to 60 degrees they are back in their normal haunts.

I've seen times where the fish will roam and not hold on structure.... That may have been what they were up too....
Can I have a lil fun here? OK
I figured that Dead I mean live scope would have shown that but I guess it has its limits.....
I'm just picking on the guys that prays LS like the crappie are attracted to it..... No hard feelings ok....
