    Season on crappie is at times tough but they are definitely catchable year round..... Slabs that is.......

    you know SK I just had a conversation with a gent that was striking out night jigging. he said even with minnows all he could ketch was lil ones . I tuned him up and explained what I would do where he fishes and the next day he blew up my phone with photos and thank you's for the 13 to 16 inch slabs he managed using customized jigs the way I told him to do it.
    sent me a photo of the jig and sure enough he did a great job following instructions on the customization .
    I had him make a ghost minnow fry like I was using at EZ's dock that night I tricked a few fish into a bite .
    and last night he sent me more slab photos again , LOL , he is now ruined in the fine art of micro jigging bro

    You could be real nice Ketchn and show or explain to us others your changes as you explained to your aquaintence there so maybe us others might catch a slab or two also...just sayin'....
