come winter the deep water laydown logs along the dam in about 25 to 30 fow will be holding limits of fish about the first of the year
come fall the crappie will stack up under the bridge and in the timber , tall man is a stand of timber that's well known to produce well .
Tawakoni is also known as one of the best blue cat lakes ever , its loaded with them for sure and stripers hybrids and sand bass and big yellow bass . that lake is about flat out full of all kinds of fish and that aint no joke .
a person can most certainly stay highly entertained there if they want to ketch fish

that there bridge is sometimes one of the best spots in texas to tear up some nice size crappie . there is a boat ramp right beside it btw
on the south end there is a marina that has a boat ramp by the dam , ask questions about navigation to the dam from there as there is a sand bar on the exit to the dam area that grounds boats when the water is down .fyi
the open water by the dam in the winter is a striped fish festival , find the birds and the fish will be close to them .
and to be sure expect a really big fish at all times , I manage more striped fish and blue cats when I crappie jig there than any other spot I have ever visited .
    KABOOM is the word bro
