4 is better than Zero.! At least you had fun right?
Except after I search, change jigs, mix up the presentations, heck I can see them (LS),and after a five hour trip ending in near heat exhaustion we end up with two. Not complaining as my brother counts, that is four filets.

At least you were able to junk the skunk. Those will eat fine
There's still a bunch of positives in this trip....
You've found that the piles you fish are at this time not productive and can focus your time on finding NEW more productive piles.....
One of my recent trips was tough and the piles that were producing just weren't.....I had to dig deep into my waypoints to find some productive piles.....
It's all about the piles and the locations.....
Pull up to a pile and if it gives 5mins of no action it's time to move.....
You'll hear just how many piles I had to fish in this w-ends vid to accomplish my goal.....
You can't just accept anything, if one pile don't act right there's 5 more that will you just have to keep moving until you find it......
Different depths play a huge roll as well as the location....
Don't just accept anything.....
You did get dinner also....
