    Default Hot day on Palestine

It was HOT today. Both temperature wise and crappie wise. It was supposed to be a scouting expedition but it turned into a slab fest. I located a few spots this morning and dipped a jig, but not much of a bite. Then around noon, the light switch turned on and I couldn't get the jig in the water fast enough. For a while, they were hitting it on the way down. They were also big fish. I only caught 2 dinks. Most were 13 to 15 inches long. I caught a total of 28 fish, but only kept the last 10 I put in the boat. They were in 30 feet of water 15 to 20 feet down. They were hitting white jigs with a little flash. Sorry for the long post, but it has been a while since I have had a day as exciting as this. As I said, today was HOT!Name: 20190708_134337.jpg

Heck yeah, looks like we both had a good day. I look forward to seeing where you caught them. From what you said, I know where that tree is because I always see it as I am driving to that launch. Great job brother!
