I posted something about that last night on a Lake Tyler facebook page and a guy told me he would take me a show me. He did just that and let me say that we did great. Got some big slabs on brush piles and I was elated. I have crappie fished that lake before years ago without any graphs and all I caught were bass. One time I was bass fishing and I swore I caught the only crappie in that lake and he was only 9 inches long. today we hammered down and brought in 37 nice sized ones. Here are a few pics. I am now a believer in Lake Tyler.

Tried to edit the title as I spell Mystery wrong. I can't edit it, so I will just play like I am unedumacated!

We just moved to Lake Tyler East and I would love to know where to find those brush piles. I love to Crappie fish and want to find some spots. Last time I fished for Crappie on lake Tyler was in highschool back in teh 80's and we had some spots then but couldn't tell you where.

"SI" is side imaging fish finder, or a fish finder with Side Imaging...

Thanks. I have a garmin that has side view, true vu and live view but can't bring myself to pay for the live view transducer.

Well, once I can get up and around again, full knee replacement in 1 week, I'll be getting my one man Pontoon set up and ready. I have a Garmin striker 5" for it, a trolling motor to put on, a battery box, standing deck, as well a 7" seat riser and swivel. Then the local lakes need to watch out. I've only been out once this year and drew a great big goose egg on everything but washing some line and rinsing a couple dozen jigs off in the lake. Use your side imaging on your unit. It should use the regular non-True view transducer. That will find the fish hotels and fish for you. Good luck.
