Aaaahhhh man that's a sad deal but on the bright side you get to buy some brand new gear..... bigger and better.....
I'd say check out Thump City but it's taking forever for them to restock......
My three most used crappie poles are now in a *#%>*!* thieves hands. One had one of my Texaco jigs on it too. But anyways, I'm fond of a little stick, and ideally I want something 6-7' first...that casts well and is still all you want out of a jigging pole. I can grab another old series BNM Bucks fairly cheap for the 8'. I'm used to them. But I'd like a 8' eventually that casts and jigs equally well too. What I don't like or want is expensive rods. Something around $50 +/- is all I'll spend, I still have another President reel or two and a couple others, so I'm just looking for a pole rather than a combo. Let me hear it.
BTW, if you see someone with a no named bluish-black custom 6' pole with a President reel, a BnM 8' Bucks Jig Pole with a Mr Crappie reel, and a 6'6" Wally Marshall Speed Shooter combo, get a pic, plate, info, etc and contact me here por favor. Thanks!

So sorry for your loss, it is hard to beat a Okuma Cellita for a good price and quality.
I have a ozark 8' and love it. Its not near as whippy as the bnm (not knocking the bnm i have one of those to and enjoy it). its got a good tip and great action! I also have a shakespeare 7' graphite pole found at wally world that has suprised the heck out of me i love that thing!
Cabela's Fish Eagle's are on sale for $50.

Thanks fellas!
SK...what difference is there between a Thump City and a BnM Bucks Graphite Jig Pole? Aside from being available haha. I'm drawn to these for some reason. I think it's the name.
I'll look into the Okuma. Never heard of the brand before.
The Ozark's are definitely on my radar. I know exactly what you mean about the whip. Definitely still a good pole though. Shakespeare has made some great stuff indeed.
Tell me about this Fish Eagle. Or give me a comparison to something else. I got a free ultra light Cabelas Tourney Trail with a split cork that I had for a while and it was surprisingly likeable. Good sensitivity and fair enough backbone for what it was.
I've heard the Crappie Maxx rods are plenty of pole for anybody. Opinions?
Thieves are definitely among the top 2-3 of any worst list. I know how the world goes, and it's not the end, but I still have quite a bit of trouble dealing with it.
