Looking forward to some pics and do not forget to set up Active Captain for some cool videos. BTW, Sprite has too much sugar (smile).

Haha. agreed. I tried setting activeCpt last night and was not having luck. I was ready to fish so I decided to wait. I will work on it today. It was not finding my unit so I am sure that I need to do a few more things in the setup.

yes I do, I have to look professional. The boat came with the two hummingbirds, but they do not do down or side scan so I installed the Lowrance units from my old boat instead of selling them like I had originally intended. Then obviously the Livescope has its own graph. Went fishing yesterday with it and well the saying it true, all the tools in the world cannot make you catch fish if they do not want to bite. Working on a video right now as it was a horrible day but as I wake up now and think about it, it is a little funny. Well maybe not. By the way, thank you for your service to this Great Nation!

You have to initiate the on board Wi Fi on the Garmin unit first in order for the Active Captain app on your phone to connect thereby allowing the Helm function to initiate videos.

I did that, but my phone could not find it. I did not play with it much, just one failed attempt then decided I wanted to go see it in action. I am sure that it is not hard, was just a bad day in several ways and I wanted to fish! :-) Will work on it today as I have nothing to do but cut the grass.

Don’t forget to look for the WiFi signal on your WiFi settings on your phone, as well.
