some cover of some sort . vertical if possible or a pile on the bottom .
and get jiggy with it , the bite is totally on fire state wide .
10 to 15 foot down on average seems to be simply magic depth area to present your jig at every lake I know of .

The bite is for sure on fire but getting jiggy with it ain't what the BIG fish I'm on want.......LOL
Put the jig in their face and hold it ..... THUMP and you'll have a BAM......
I do not care if it is a jiggy and a Bam or being still and a Thump. Either works for me.

I’ve hit a few areas trying to get to those depths. Found a few in 10-12’ at one spot, but I haven’t really got into em good anywhere yet.
I bs’d my way out of a parking ticket at a bridge this weekend, thankfully.
jiggy is a relative term ,slow in the summer is often the key
