Second East Texas Crappie Gathering

A few weeks ago, a gentleman by the name of Eric was good enough to organize an East Texas Crappie Gathering. We met at the Athens Public Library and had a great time discussing crappie fishing. On Wednesday, May 22nd, we will be having a second gathering. It will be at 6:00 PM in Chandler, Tx at the San Pedro Mexican Food Restaurant. It is located at 404 State Hwy 31 E., Chandler, TX, 75758. Some of us are going to be there at 5:00 to eat and support the restaurant that is allowing us to meet there. Any and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. At our first meeting, we had several accomplished crappie anglers, so it turned into a round table discussion. For beginners or anyone looking for help, this is the place to be. Experienced anglers are also encouraged to attend, as your experience and knowledge would be welcomed. We all share what we know, in hopes of improving everyone's fishing experience. Hope to see you there.

Planning on being there. Will know more the week of. Heck, next time lets all meet at a boat dock, bring food, then get in boats and crappie fish and talk! haha

Haha. I like where your head is at. At the first meeting, we joked about checking the weather before having the meeting and only having them on rainy windy days. Lol.
One more thing, this is NOT a sponsored event. Just crappie anglers looking to meet others and share knowledge.

to far for me to travel these days unless i for sure wet a jig and actually get a kitchen pass ….

but it sounds like fun and i kinda wish i could go just to consume mass quantities of food and hear what others think about ketch said fisheez

Quick reminder. The second East Texas Crappie Gathering will be tomorrow night in Chandler. Kids are welcome and encouraged to ask questions. Come on over Ketchn. The worst that will happen, is that one of us will force you to go fishing with us. Lol

I am going to do my best to be there. My daughter has an exam for nursing and at some point between 5 and 5:45 she had to give me an IV. LOL. The things we do for our kids. If I get out in time I will show up. Would love to meet everyone.
