    Default Lake Palestine Report

Yesterday, 4/20/19, I fished Lake Palestine and had some success. I caught fish in 10 to 14 fow. Most were at the bottom. They were on brushpiles and trees. Caught them on orange and chartreuse. They wouldn't touch an electric chicken or white/chart. They were slow to bite. Had to hold it very still. No monsters, but good eating size. They were between 11 and 14 1/2 inches. All females were spawned out. No eggs. I had 4 or 5 more bites, but they slipped the hook before I could get them to the boat. Name: Screenshot_20190420-163037_Gallery.jpeg

I went again on Tuesday. The bit was even lighter. They wouldn't touch a straight vertical jig. I had to pitch it out past the brushpile and let it swing/fall slowly through the pile. E
