Didn’t get the day off
but I got out a little early at least. Had an hour and half to fish after getting there before I had to leave to pick my daughter up from school. Got a few dink’s shallow. Fry was everywhere. Hiked and found some cover out deeper I could actually get to and landed the one in the pic shortly. Was just over 14”. Then I broke off and rigged back up. Had another goodun on and lost it. Then it was pretty much time to go lol

Nothing wrong with that. I’d trade the nice ones I’ve caught for some more numbers for sure. I wasted a lot of what time I’ve had searching new water. Surprisingly a lot had fish. Just real scattered and short.
