    Default Patience is a virtue

Of which I have none (smile). Water temp up to 60-65 degrees here on Lake Austin. We have yet to find spawning or skinny water fish but at last found a few on our brushpiles. The whites were at 32 feet deep and the blacks at 20 feet on brush at the edge of the bank. The green carp again proved they like crappie jigs. More to come. Here are a few pics.

Hi, my son just moved to Austin a few months ago from the Midwest and loves to fish. Hasn't had a chance to go yet but bought his license. He doesn't have a boat so it's going to be shore fishing for him. Have the fished moved in to spawn yet on Lake Austin?

Yes but for the life of me I cannot find them. I know every potential spot but have had no luck at all. Lake Austin does not have too many places to bank fish. Once the fishing heats up and they show up in structure I will post some more pics. Maybe we can hook up with your son and chase them in our boat?

They're probably hiding the channel edge and not holding on any other structure....
I ran into that a month or so back on my lake.....
