    I’m from just north of Abilene just bought a boat have done some bank fishing but just learning lakes any advice on lakes and where to search this time of year

    Welcome to the awesome forum and, crappie madness. Me, I’d start a little deeper over brush. Start with TPWD website and pick your region
    on their site. When you narrow down the lake or lakes, try a search for an online paper etc that
    might have a fishing report for that particular lake. Also talk to local folks close to that body of h2o. Good luck!!

    Leon is a good lake , I know several folks drive there from your area . of course there are several in the area I speak of that are good as well , cisco I hear is good , hubbard creek is good to .
    as far as exact spots I will get hung from an old liveoak if I go posting about that kind of thing ….lol
