was out at LoP friday and saturday. fished main lake flats just off deepest water (river channel). Fish were scattered at various depths but seemed to have best luck at 15 to 20 foot depth in 25 to 30 feet of water. Put a couple 14 inchers in the boat but it was extremely slow bite.

crappie were not holding to cover but on the on the move along with baitfish. tried standing timber but saw no action there and could not draw a bite with jig nor minnow.
best bet is to find the baitfish and hope for the best.
