If you want to sell something it is as good as Craigslist. just my 2 cents
A bit rude could be an understatement from my experience over there ....but to be sure this spot is the calmest and most informative location I have visited if you are chasing crappie ...the owner and the moderators are simply jewels and the members here follow suit just as well ...

I totally agree i have not seen any negative comments from anyone here and very open. It is nice to see folks want you to be a better crappie fisherman. If you have a question they do not make you feel stupid for asking. The guides are not trying to push their product. I have not seen any know it all's.

    great place to talk crappie!!!!!

I agree. The Texas site is pretty slim. I still think this is a great forum. I mainly fish up on Amon Carter Lake in Bowie. Not a lot of pressure on crappie. Mostly bass fishermen. I been going every weekend since end of January, and the water is still in the upper 40's. The new part of the lake, Keil Creek, is DEEP. The banks are rocky and drop off fast. I got tops in 20', 15' and 10'. They haven't moved up yet. Still in about 40' fow. I'm no pro, but I stay at it. I would love for us to have a "rondevous"! Maybe on Lake Fork, Ray Roberts, Lavon, or Cedar Creek sometime during March/April. I have learned a lot from this site. Be glad when I can finally and really retire so I can go fishing more.
