Congrats to all that got out and put the work in catching fish and a BIG CONGRATS to Lamar on the BIG fish.
Although the morning started out nice and cool the day heated to hot, the wind conditions was almost perfect for crappie fishing.
Water temp started at 85° with fairly decent clarity.
From what I gathered at the weigh-in fish were caught in several areas, on several different colors and depths varying from 10 to 14 foot deep.
A great time was had at the weigh-in and lots of good info was shared.
Got to talk with our Big Crappie Masters tourney team (Butz and Wolf) and gave them encouragement to put Team Lake Houston on the big tourney trail map with a upcoming Win in that tourney.
Thanks to all that fished the tourney and to the guys that showed up at the weigh-in...
Sure is fun....
