    Haven’t heard anything about crappie fishing on Lake Conroe, anybody have some info on it??

    All I can tell you is I know several guys that fish it all the time. I have tied jigs for a few for a long time.

    I haven't been since they lowered the lake level but before the bite was great.....

    I went this morning and caught crappie 9 feet down holding tight to structure. They are biting blue ice Bobby Garland. With the low water you can see all the trees that have been trimmed over the years by boat props. They are all the same height and you can see them easily right now. If you go now you can mark all them "crappie holes" before they disappear under the water again. I launched by Cagle. Have fun!
