    Default LOP

Not typically me to mix it up with the weekenders but I got a bud that still works the week and wanted some fish. Who am I to argue. So we bobbed up and down on the wake of the skiers and tubers and enjoyed the morning sipping coffee and flipping jigs. 22 in the box this fine Saturday morning. 13ft on 1 brushpile. 32oz blue and white jig slow soaked with a dash of Slab Sauce.

Thanks Stovall. I'm thinking you, Oliver and me need to pick a day meet up and share tips tricks and such. If your not doing to good now I'd be more than happy to put you on some spots I've been on as long as "if" your on them on a day I show up we can bump up close and visit. Some folks wig out about that but I think it's kinda cool to meet folks out there. We were hammering on them good today and a boat 50 to 75 feet away was getting skunked. We invited him to join us but he declined. Oh well.

I know fur sure I will be on the lake on the 16th (weather permitting). Taking a friend out to long pole it with me in the stumps and see if we get anything to bite. I dont have any electronics at the moment so locating brush piles is almost impossible. I am looking at the Lowrance Elite 7 TI for my console. Get the same for the bow when the cosh is available.

Family reunion for me that day and 8-18 I'll be teaching at the fire academy. For sure got to squeeze in another day before Friday. I'm running a Hook 7. I like it but would love to get me some side scan one day.
