I’m another Newbie to the Texas forum and Crappie.com. I live in Santa Fe, TX which is near Galveston Island on the Gulf Coast. I’m an old retired USAF MSgt. I grew up fishing salt water and then as a teenager I was introduced to fresh water fishing. After catching my first Crappie (White Perch) and Bass I was hooked. During my 30 year career in the AF I was stationed near some great fresh water fishing. Michigan, Missouri, Illinois and Louisiana all were great fishing spots. I look forward to sharing and reading about your Crappie experiences. My spot is Lake Conroe here in SE Texas.
