    Tried what Skip said. Jig on bottom with minnow up above about 12 inches or so. Still catching most on the minnows, but catching a few on the jig. Crappie on the jigs do seem to be a bit larger. Still trying to figure out the best colors.

    2 years later, fish almost exclusively with jigs. Seem to catch larger fish. Monkey milk is killing them lately.

    How is it possible that SR records are both below 3lbs??? Do fish not grow that big there. I thought it was a crappie hole that rivaled or was better than Toledo.
